International Collaborations in University Art Education

January 8 –10, 2025 Peter Sramek is attending the hybrid conference on higher education and giving a presentation on International Collaborations in University Art Education. With attendees from around the globe this conference is co-hosted in Los Angeles, Lima and Manilla. Giselle Mira-Diaz and Peter prepared a 20 minute talk which includes a pre-recorded segment fromGiselle on why international collaboration is important today, how collaboration in teaching and learning expands new conceptions of education and a few guidelines for online teaching environments. The presentation was well-received among a series of sessions on new directions in teaching art and design, how to build inclusive curriculum and foster critical thinking.
